Team XRAY made another podium finish in the European Warm-Up race event held May 28-30 at Staffanstorp in Sweden. Staffanstorp is a large track, mainly used for 1/8 scale nitro cars, giving a great race for touring cars. Weather conditions were good, starting with cloudy weather on Friday and finishing with sun and nice warm weather on Sunday in almost perfect conditions.

Team XRAY driver Jilles Groskamp finished in second place overall, even though he had the same number of points as the overall winner, Jonas Andersson of Sweden. Jilles and Jonas each had a 1st and 2nd place finish in their two best finals (meaning that they are equal on points), but according to EFRA rules the fastest time determined the winner when on equal points. In that case, the winner was Jonas Andersson, with Jilles Groskamp having to settle for second position overall.

With XRAY being the principal sponsor, it was no surprise to see the entire Team XRAY factory team hard at work during this event. They all dedicated their time to fine tuning, looking for the perfect set-up, and testing new prototype components. After the weekend event, Team XRAY remained at the track for private testing.
